Americans often miscalculate portion sizes, study says

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- At 170 calories per serving, Kathryn Mora figured the spaghetti was inoffensive. So she slurped away, eating her fill.

A closer look at the nutrition term destroyed all those awkward relief eats feelings: A serving was well-grounded an eighth of the box — not the whole trend.

"I can eat the uninterrupted box, like that," said Mora, snapping her fingers.
